Hello All,
I apologize in advance if this topic has already been discussed. I went back 10 pages and could not find.
Im having confusion as to the position of Martha Tabram's body on the first floor landing. By what photos and grsphic images I can source, the landings themselves seemed very narrow. So, the iconic newspaper drawing doesn't jibe with the landing layout to me.
I've attached the iconic newspaper drawing, a screenshot from Lemmino's YouTube video graphic, The Enduring Mystery of Jack the Ripper, B&W photo where an arrow points thus, and a rare photo of the landing from the Facebook page, All Things British Past and Present.

My main issue is how could the body be lengthwise to the stairs? There seems not enough room and have other tennants walk by without literally tripping over Martha.
If anyone knows how Martha's body was truly positioned, I'd be truly grateful.
