Can anyone give me the 1880 street statistics or point where to go for them? Was there a planning commission that specified "average" width, the quotations are used to indicate that what might be used as official planning probably did not exist in the East End. The reason I am asking is that it will help some research I want to do.

Not 100% sure exactly what you are after but it might be worth looking in to the building/planning regulations etc that came into being after the Fire of London in 1666.
