    29 wasn't demolished until 1970.

Might have been the news before the main movie ..... Dr No.

The light down the hall way is an electric light globe in a small light shade fitting.

Coleman lamps were quite popular up here until "fairly recently".

        Think "Otway Hillbillies"!

I'd venture to suggest that the 'light' seen in the hallway is in fact daylight shining through cracks and gaps in the rickety front door and/or door surround. There was a large oblong 'panel' above the front door entrance which may or may not have been glazed (originally) and was perhaps boarded up at the time of the photo but would no doubt have been VERY old and decrepit! The frontage, indeed the whole building, was pretty derelict after all!

As you are one of my most respected contributors and the light bulb doesn't seem to be giving out any light ...... winner, winner, chicken dinner!

Thanks again for your marvelous work!

Its a pity that we don’t have dates from some of these photos.
Unfortunately have no confirmed date but would say 69-70 prior to demolition??

Would tend to agree about light in passage my guess would be gaps above the door frame/jamb??
