  • What Three Words JtR Locations

    What is what3words?
    what3words is a really simple way to talk about location.

    We have assigned each 3m square in the world a unique 3 word address that will never change.

    For example ///filled.count.soap marks the exact entrance to what3words’ London headquarters.

    3 word addresses are easy to say and share, and are as accurate as GPS coordinates.

    and so...

    Add the three words below to the search box at the What3Words website:
    https://what3words.com/

    Relatively precise canonical 5 murder locations plotted on the what3words mapping website:

    cove.search.copper = Buck's Row (Durward Street)
    couches.darker.pool = 29 Hanbury Street
    inner.rots.bucks = Berner Street (Dutfield's Yard)
    voted.scale.candy = Mitre Square
    bossy.refuse.barn = Miller's Court (No13) (this one I plotted using a few maps LINK)

    Others
    gifted.this.ahead = Goulston Street Graffito doorway

    Add more locations below

    I heard about What3words a week ago on the BBC-dot-com website (which is not the BBC's UK website)

    The app that can save your life

    Police want everyone to download a smartphone app they say has already saved several lives.

    According to the wiki page they launched in 2013.

    These are not clues, Fred.
    It is not yarn leading us to the dark heart of this place.
    They are half-glimpsed imaginings, tangle of shadows.
    And you and I floundering at them in the ever vainer hope that we might corral them into meaning when we will not.
    We will not.
