  • Mrs Prater's place

Is the issue settled definitely about Mrs Prater's room? I mean, has the Casebook forum said the "Holly Right" about that, and what is the common believe ?

Thje thing that means to me is : Was she leaving right above MJK or anywhere else, like on Dorset side ?

    Thank's

Might I throw some food-for-thought in your direction?
If you check out some recent opinions on Howard's JTRForum..

Thank you Jon; you linked me to rare sketches of Miller's Court...
Could Mrs Prater's room window be the one over the archway, with rags (?) drying on a string ?

The Georgian window directly above the archway (with three bottles in the window?), appears, in the Goad map, to be part of a room or passage belonging to No.27.
Prater seems consistent in saying her address was at No.26, but precisely which room is still a mystery.

back to Mrs Prater own words:
            - "I live above the shed": could that mean above the sloping roof we all can see on the MC sketch ? So right above MJK room?
