Hi all,
I had to visit a firm in London today, the building was on the corner of Mitre street and Aldgate, after my solitary walk around mitre square I went to the said firm.
As I entered the main recception I noticed the interior had a large perspex glass that was protecting an acient looking wall complete with stone arches. I asked the receptionist what the protected wall was, and she told me it was the remains of the monastry that mitre square was built on.
I thought that any remains had long gone, so quite surprised that some of it still remains.
I would like to think that I had found something that know one else knew about, anyone out there knew it exiisted ?
