Can anyone direct us towards some records of crime rates in 1880's London (or Whitechapel in particular)?
Every documentary and book I've seen makes vague statements about "high crime" and "murder was not unusual"; but it would be interesting to have some firm facts in this respect. Particularly when contemplating the possibility of seperate Stride/Eddowes perpetrators, or the possible addition of Tabrum (etc).
Thanks.
