Yes - it all seems to be working well now.

Thanks for all the trouble you've gone to in sharing these scans.

If you download and install google earth (yes it is free),and then download the kmz and click on the file, it will self install. Be sure to check the folders on the left side of the screen, if there is a + mark next to them they can be expanded to reveal the contents. It is as simple as putting a check mark in the box next to the item to turn that item on or off. Dave

          Protohistorian,

I hope you don't mind me asking whether you're planning to upload the remaining directory scans (A-E).

I understand that there's some work involved etc, so I don't expect you to but you're more than welcome to do so, cos I for one find these interesting

I noticed H is incomplete (begins at "hand-"), so that Hanbury St isn't included.

          Thanks once again,

          /jake

            a-e

As soon as I get settled in (tonight). I did not realize a-e were missing, but I have them and will load them tonight. I will give a heads up post here. Sorry for the delay. Dave

              a-e

I just checked my humyo account and a-e is present in both the com section and the street names. Please advise. Dave

No problem Chris. The community has given to me, it is my turn to give back. Glad they are helpful. Dave

                    Thanks, proto.

The direct link to "hand-i streets" seems to work. However, the only files at your root folder seem to be that one and s-streets, the rest seem no longer to be there. (I never saw any of the a-e there, tho)

Also, I see no com (nor street names) section - are they supposed to be folders like the kmz one?

Unfortunately I've used other file storage services (rapidshare, yousendit, megaupload) etc, so I can't advise you on humyo. It seems to be a quirky sonofagun, tho..
Hopefully it can be sorted out (or worked around)

                      links and options

Once humyo has generated a link, it will not generate another. I strongly recommend users that are having trouble try again, perhaps with another machine. Dave

My humyo screen shows them all present. What do I do? Dave

No Jake they are pdf files, you are not seeing all that is there buddy. All the letters of the alphabet in both com and streets and two md files all pdf.
Seperate folder called kmz. try hitting the my files tab at top right. Other than that I am at a loss to help. Dave

Many thanks for a-e, protohistorian! Got 'em!

It seems that now these a-e pdfs are visible. However, these I can see at the "latest files section" of your humyo folder. (FYI, there's no "street names" folder)

I can only guess, but the (sub)folder must be shared or some similar setting prevents it from being visible to others (your kmz folder is visible, for instance) The contents of one's own folder doesn't doesn't display the same as to others... Go figure... I'm sorry I can't help there (except maybe urge you to ditch Humyo in favour of other, more straightforward services, or have another looky at their instructions )

Anyhoo, now I've managed to get all street indexes (or is it indices?).
I much appreciate your efforts & generosity, so thanks again!

Unfortunately I am back to seeing only a, b and s. However, I am able to download from the links in post number 25, provided I'm logged into humyo.

Having said that, after logging out and following the link in post number 1, I can see all the files again. It does seem to be an incredibly temperamental system!
