    P.C. Harvey's beat

Between Harvey and Watkins I have several hours in teasing out the details. Harvey in particular is less than clear about the switchbacks he makes. Two of them are in Little Duke Street and a third in Church Passage. Forgive the less than tidy appearances. Start at the vertical line in Bevis Marks in and follow the inquest testimony of the P.C. to see what I mean. There is a lesson for us all on geography here, words are woeful characterisations of movements in physical space. Dave

    Watkin's beat

It cannot be walked as described in the inquest, the word aldgate is an undefined location even on 1888 maps. That being said, here it is folks. Dave

suspect locations in the relevant period

I am asking for solid suspect locations in an effort to get them plotted. I have Klosowski and Kosminski, everyone else is fair game. Dave

if there is something you want to see

If you would like to see a map of two or more places just ask. If I do not have the places already plotted, I will effort them. But realistically, it is likely plotted already, Unless it is a beat. Dave

    Dr. Gabe and Millers Court

from the house on the left (Gabe's) to 13 on the right (Millers Court) as the crow flies 1.95 miles. From the pin on left ( Gabe's work) to same 1.88 miles as the crow flies. As an aside, I routinely walk further to attend class. Dave

I apologise for the congestion on the map, it is a result of seeking to convey the macro picture. Dave

The first plotting, gathered entirely by contexts, is represented by the red circle. The second plotting, represented by the pin, was found on detailed inspection of the map. I am happy with the result. Dave
