        Hi Blackkat
There was an orange market near Mitre Square as well as many other markets in the area, probably close to 29 Hanbury Street.Costermonger barrows were stored in Castle Alley amongst others.Do you have a theory developing here which invoves orange carts or markets? 29 Hanbury Street would most probably be associated with carts selling cats meat.
        All the best

Just wondering where the nearest one was. Trying to get a layout and mental picture of the area. Thank you!

                Hi Blackkat

If you check a map you'll see Spitalfields Market just below the western end of Hanbury Street and closer to #29 there was, then as now, a Sunday market on Brick Lane which intersects Hanbury Street not many yards from the murder site.
