I have just obtained the 1898 edition of Crockford's Clerical Directory on CD, fully searchable. If you would like any info on C of E clergymen still active in 1898 please let me know. Crockford's gives pretty complete biographical data and would include information on where the individual was serving in 1888, if he was.
