    Nice photos, Observer.

Here's a couple of oldies I fished out from my recent forays:

Howard Buildings, Deal Street, 1974. Nice bit of bins, eh?

Hanbury Street, 1972. That's Christ Church Hall to the left, followed by the 'Duke of Uke' at No.22, 'Nudge Records' at No.20 and that posh shop on the corner of Wilkes Street. These days, anyway.

Nice bit of Ford Capri action never goes amiss, by the way. Makes a change from Escorts and Granadas.

And a cafe on Jerome Street (formerly Little Pearl St), Spitalfields, 1955. It's round the back of Commercial Street north of Hanbury Street.

I believe the street to the left in both pictures is Calvin (Great Pearl) Street.

Nice shot. It proves to me that whether Richardson sat or stood on that step he couldn't possibly, even in early-morning light, have missed Chapman lying immediately to his left.

                A Shot Wasted

Here's a shot wasted in Durward Street (Buck's Row), one of my 1967 photographs where the camera cord got in front of the lens -

Could have been worse. I forgot to take the lens cap of once (just once) And I'm still hearing from Monty about it. Last time I send him pictures of toilets.

                  Nice photos as always.

Camera cord, old Boss? It looks suspiciously like the shape of a surgical knife...

                        Stewart,

You do realize that if this were a UFO message board rather than one devoted to JtR your picture would have had folks chattering gleefully for days. For that matter, it may cause a few to talk about it being Polly's spectral image.

Nice shots John . Love the " Rats " bin . An early attempt at rodent recycling .......? And the Capri .. seems incredulous to me now how much I wanted one of those when I was a kid either that or a Reliant Schimitar ...oddly . Regards Philbee .

I have to add in fairness to my good friend Ray Luff, the Hanbury Street shots here were taken by him in 1966.
