What was going on with Ann McCarthy’s shop? 1895 was the year her husband, Daniel, Died there.

Great image was taken by William H Groves for a short lived periodical called New Budget a magazine featuring stories of interest!
The image was supplied by the Us Library of Congress of all sources!!A truly fantastic image of such a notorious street very much photographed so little!
The image is taken outside number 38 Dorset street showing 37-36&35 also entrance to Little Paternoster Row on the left
