I agree, that photo really is spectacular. I love shots with high contrast black and white. Top stuff there Rob!

An appropriately squiffy "Kate's eye view" taken from the pavement outside what would have been 29 Aldgate High Street in 1888, now the appropriately-named* "Matrix" building:



* I say "appropriately-named", because matrix is Greek for "womb". Not a lot of people know that... as I discovered when I mentioned it on the tour

Damn that infernal traffic! The old extended bit of Wilkes Street next to the brewery.


The green lighting has gone, and normal white striplights are now in place in Angel Alley.

They're a bit weedy looking aren't they? There's some similar ones round the back of Priory House in the old orange market too.
