Spent a large part of yesterday in and around the east end, taking some photographs, as you do. Here are some of the results....

Rooves on the south side of Hanbury Street, east of the junction with Brick Lane.

How very thoughtful that the local authorities should now mark out Dutfields Yard with these helpful yellow markings. (Can't think of any other reason why they would be there....)

Woods Buildings as it looks today, providing you stick your camera on the end of a tripod, use the timer function, and hold it up in the air over and above the level of the metal doorway.

The shot of Hanbury Street, as seen from Commercial Street by Andrew Firth is great. Is that Jake the Peg's ghost walking across the road?

I thought the one of Jake the Peg would provoke a few comments!

excellent work Andrew - especially liked the "NOIR" reflection shot with ChristChurch - so you went up in the Whites Row carpark at night - on your own? I want to try some shots there too but have been told its bit dodgy.....

                          Adam,

It's not the safest of places I'll admit!

I was constantly looking over my shoulder whilst I was taking those pictures, although I didn't actually see anyone about in the car park at all. It was very busy everywhere else, with people standing outside the Ten Bells and wandering up and down Artillery Passage, but it has to be said that the car park is the one place round there where there's not a soul to be found.

                          Except intrepid photographers of course...

                          Andrew

                            Not a soul....

                            See?

No-one there but me and my shadow.
