A recent find. This is Durward Street; Essex Wharf is gone, but Brady House remains.
I used to have a photo of the street in 1991 and the graffiti on the iron hoardings is the same, so I assume it's that year (Essex Wharf demolished 1990).
And Catherine Wheel Alley, last week. That's 'Professor Mario Putano' freaking out (in-joke).
Brutto!! Sangue!! Oh Misere!!

Some photos I took yesterday:
Albert Gardens, Commercial Road. This place used to be called Albert Square.
The old Bethnal Green Police. This is a different frontage to the one that was there in 1888.
Gibraltar Walk, just off Bethnal Green Road.
Sir John Cass School, this is on the corner of Church Passage.
St Botolph, Aldgate.
St Dunstans, Stepney. The oldest building in the East End.
St James Place looking towards Mitre Square
St Leonards, Shoreditch
The Highway looking towards Canary Wharf.
This used to be The Dolphin on Turville Street.
