Does anyone know what program was used to create this video?

    It's quite snazzy imo.

    Hi, DirectorDave.

From the look of it, I'd say it was most likely produced using the Unity engine.

You would do well to contact the forum user 'richardh' and enquire of him, as I believe he may possess some inside knowledge regarding this matter.

    Here's his website - http://autumnofterror.com

Only 4 months late seeing this! Sorry.
This actual vid was created using Blender 3D for modelling and animation. I do use Unity but in this case, the whole thing was created using Blender.

It is not the best effort but it's not too bad.
This video (silent) is a bit better:

A silent movie walk through of Dutfield's Yard, Berner Street. Murder location of Elizabeth Stride - Jack the Ripper's 3rd Canonical Victim.

And there's also this one which is a short vid of the yard with victim in situ:

video, sharing, camera phone, video phone, free, upload

The actual scene and models used in this video are on Unity 3D and available as a walk-thru of Dutfield's Yard using the link below. You need to open the link in either Mozilla or Internet Explorer (Chrome isn't supported)

When you open the scene you'll probably find it's very dark. I wanted to try to replicate a very dark, misty night scene but I think I went too far But there is a menu to adjust things so just tweak it a bit.

I'd love to make more scenes and of a much higher quality but at the moment my PC is very low spec and I can't afford to upgrade yet. Also, Unity has stopped supporting the basic unity web player (what this DY scene is using) in favour of browser based 'webGL' so i can't do any more scenes as yet.

        Thanks
