    Hi,

    Henry Joseph Simpson died in 1943. He had married Bessie Emma Stearns, sister to Morris William, in 1907. Her death was reigstered in the Saffron Walden District in 1968.     Morris William STEARNS was born on 2 Jun 1881 in Acton, Suffolk, England. He was baptised on 14 Aug 1881 in Acton, Suffolk, England. He was buried in 1916 in

    Guillemont Road Military Cemetery, France. He died on 13 Sep 1916 in France. He was a Farmer. Parents: William STEARNS and Ellen Harriet WOODGATE.
    He was married to Ellen SIMPSON on 23 Jul 1902 in Sudbury, Suffolk, England. Children were: James Morris SIMPSON, Beatrice STEARNS, Joe STEARNS, Amy Alma Bessie

    STEARNS, Violet Ellen Elizabeth STEARNS.

    An Ellen G Simpson living a few doors away from Lawende's address , along with the tale of an old Ex Copper seemed to good to be true ..

    Hi,
    No, Ellen didn't have a middle name. In 1911 the whole family (incl Amos) are living in Barrow Hill, Suffolk.

    I'll keep digging later & see if I can trace Ellen's children.
