    Hi Maria,

Thanks for the compliment. Yes, Eddowes in the boat was a real doozy. Not bad for someone still in the practice stage. It's early days yet, but you'll be pleased to hear that I'm slowly working my way towards the instigation of a truly monumental piece of mischief like the Maybrick Diary or Swanson marginalia.

What's really ironic is that the story about the ruled blue foolscap MM is true, so I guess that certain things are simply too fantastic for people to believe.

    Regards,

    Simon

Simon Wood loves to instigate mischief, doesn't he? I've heard about the Eddowes photo controversy!

Well, Simon "Blue Line" Wood, this is another nice mess you've gotten us into.

    Hello Jason,

I cannot, and will not answer for Trevor. But I am happy with my explanation given at present.

Akin to you, I do not agree with everything Trevor opines upon, which I have stated often here on these boards, however on certain subjects I do agree with him. He is indefatigable in his search for the Special Branch material. I applaud this loudly, as stated before.

    best wishes

    Phil

The same applies then. Red tape is hardly intimidation.

I have to agree with much of what you have written here. Trevor Marriott has swung a spotlight on the things you mention. Perhaps it was much needed, whatever one thinks of his methodology. In return, no, he isn't intimidated either. Not even by the red tape of Scotland Yard and all the excuses under the sun they can dream up either.
    Thank you for your thoughts.

Intimidated? Trevor has simply been banned from a messageboard, he's not had the Gestapo calling at his door at 4.am.

    Hello Phil,
please consider it. (At the end of the day, why do I suspect that I'll be the one getting stucked with attempting this? Maybe not such a bad idea, after all. I'm new, I'm neutral, a member at JTRForums, and I can do “innocent“ very-very well. I still believe that around Christmas is a good time. Maybe between Christmas and New Year's, when everyone's relaxed and with a full tummy.)

    Hello Maria,

If I posted my intensions to do anything, it may be mis-interpreted as being on Trevor Marriott's behalf, which I am sure he knows, and I know at least, would be false. I will consider the idea.

    best wishes

    Phil

Not an unwise suggestion. Perhaps someone (Phil Carter?) would accept volunteering an approach just before the Christmas holidays – in the forgiving spirit of Christmas and all.

    Maria,

Would it matter whether it was uploaded in JTRForums or on here?

    Both are worthy.

    Hello all,

Perhaps we will all be surprised, I for one, do not underestimate Trevor Marriott's capabilities. Who knows how far he will get? I recall, that he himself feels, as he posted before, that he has a very strong case in order to gain access to these documents. He has my total support in this matter.
All at Trevor's great personal expense. I believe.

    best wishes

    Phil
