  • what are these?

Indicated on the photo are two rectangles, one green and one yellow. These represent police stations on a bacon map sheet. They are unnamed and I am apparently not clever enough to discover their identity. Will someone please take pity on me? Dave

Thanks Monty, although I am Dave. Does this mean they have no name or nomenclature? Dave

        Sorry Dave,

        I was thinking of another....*sigh*.

Anyways, Rob and I came across the Section House to the left of Assembly Passage. Ive a photo of it at home which Ill post up here later (unless someone else has it). Its also in the London Job 2010 Book...available at all good bookshops...or not - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n8T7dlARu3M

Section Houses were where unmarried Police Offices lived, like digs. The idea being that they could be summonds as one, should the need arise, for back up. It was important to know where these building were, incase aid was required, however they werent marked with specific names.

Now to have two close to each other is rare. So Im wondering if Im correct in naming them both as section houses. I must confess, that part of the Manor is John and Robs domain, Im sure Rob will be on here is you put up a title for free tea and naked ladies. They would be able to confirm.

In the meantime, I shall have a look see.

Yes Monty I am sure you are correct. However, if I had free tea and naked ladies, I would not care what the hell these are anyway. You see my problem, either lie and say I have them, or rely on providence to bring me the one called Clack. Dave

Your a good man Monty. Thank You! If we could only get more students to be this helpful. I rather fear we have too many professors. Dave
