William Thick, d. 1930

Record of Sergeant Thick (aka Johnny Upright)'s death in Battersea, aged 86, in 1930. I have not seen this on here before, and as he is undoubtedly an interesting character and there has been some discussion about him recently, I thought this may be of interest to some.

Thanks Coral - I did actually come to Frogg's excellent dissertation a while back when looking for info on Thick; it is indeed most comprehensive. From what I remember it didn't mention any details of his death, which is why I thought I would add this for something approaching completeness. Obviously this doesn't give us a great deal of new info on its own, but perhaps it may be able to help someone else along the way. Perhaps.
