Little did we suspect, (he lied), that the eminent historian would turn out to be more Dan Brown than Norman Davis. Oh it's just hilarious how furious he is.
Has anyone else noticed that he has an almost psychopathic fixation with being belittled, mocked, humiliated? Disturbing in someone studying a serial murderer...

There are two ways to be fooled, one is to believe what isn't true, the other is to refuse to believe that which is true.

We do need to consider the burden Pierre is under, being Jack the Ripper's messenger.
"I donīt want to believe the data, since I never wanted to be a ripperologist and never wanted the responsibility for all this. The killer wanted to be known and Iīm supposed to be his messenger. I donīt like that."
Pierre, 6 October 2015
It can't be easy for him.

Dear God. I just concluded my reading of this interminable thread. Every last post. Frankly, I'm depressed. After two weeks of merry-making, a wonderful Christmas season with great food, too much alcohol, precious time spent with friends and family.....All gone. All behind me. Back to work! Down in the dumps because another Christmas come and gone. AHA! But, I remembered that I had one Christmas gift left to open, the one promised by Pierre.
