    Sally,

I remember reading an article some time back that was sent to me years ago, that actually stated that Hutch's age was posted incorrectly by two different News Printings, one was the Illustrated London Weekly Newspaper, the other however is at the back of my mental trash bin, in an unrecoverable mess. I will do some digging to see if I can find the article in my vast mail bag, but I am almost certain I put that in the electronic trash.

May I ask , who was this 29 year old.?

As an aside - now I'm derailing my own thread lol - this is George Hutchison, right? As per Walter Dew's spelling?

Hi Ben. Just quickly so as not to derail the thread-no, still not seen his signature yet!

Hi Sally. I can't recall a report that gives an age for GH the witness either. That GH the witness also had a sister or family in Romford was also being inadvertently slipped in as a fact not too long ago.

Thanks Robert - hmm, well, that being the case it looks as though we might be at a dead end. He cites 'newspapers' and appears to take it as read that those references are there - but as I say, I can't recall ever seeing any press references to a definite age before.

    Thanks for your help

Mr Morley was the poster I mentioned, who claimed that newspapers gave an age of 33 :
