I thought I'd bump this up.
There is a 12 page 125 year anniversary supplement about Jack the Ripper in the East London Advertiser that you could pick up at the same time!

Local news headlines for East London and Tower Hamlets, Canary Wharf, Docklands, Bethnal Green and the surrounding London Borough of Tower Hamlets areas from the East London Advertiser.

But prepare for an ear bashing about Charles Cross near the Board School.

                    How was the tour?

Since I won't be back in GB for two years, I was wondering if you would post how the tour went, maybe some snapshots?

There were two tours - one after the other - which meant it was a bit tiring but good fun. And I walked back to Bethnal Green from Spitalfields after each as well.
But about 70 turned up which wasn't bad and raised a good sum for the charity.
Some people took photos and they have said they will copy them to me and I'll post some up.

Nice one Ed...and a good cause too...I'm glad a fair sum was raised, if for no other reason than in acknowledgement of all your efforts...look forward to seeing some pictures later on.

                          All the best

                          Dave

An earlier visit to Doveton Street with Tommy Walsh – planning a new TV show provisionally called ‘Time Team meets Ground Force’ in which the foundations of numbers 22 and 24 are dug up and the drains searched for body parts. And a water feature is left in its place.
