  • East End Conference 2020 in London

    undefined
    The East End Conference 2020
will be held at the Astronomer on Middlesex in London on Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th October. The event is being organised by Karl Coppack, Mark Ripper, Adam Wood and myself, and will follow a similar format to previous conferences. It's been very encouraging to see that although we have yet to start announcing our speakers for this year's event, we have already had a considerable number of people reserve their places, simply on the basis of how well received previous events have been.
If you haven't reserved your place yet, then head over to www.eastendconference.co.uk for details and to pay a deposit (£25) or the full amount (£50).

As in previous years, we are aiming to have a variety of speakers presenting talks on Jack the Ripper, and East End history in general. There will also be a guided photography walk around a selected part of London, a subsequent photo competition where delegates can vote for their favourites taken on the walk, the presentation of this year's Katherine Amin Award for Outstanding Contribution, a raffle to raise money for charity and last but not least the chance to enjoy socialising with like-minded people over a full weekend!
    All the best

    Andrew Firth
(on behalf of the conference organising team).
