THE ALDGATE EXCHANGE PUBLIC HOUSE
133-137 Whitechapel High Street, London, E1
Doors open at 7pm
ISRAEL LIPSKI - GUILTY OR INNOCENT?
A public debate with Mark Ripper andBill Beadle.
In 1887 Israel Lipski was convicted of the murder of his fellow lodger Miriam Angel. The case caused a sensation and a massive public debate followed. The case has remained controversial ever since. Mark Ripper will be exploring the case against Lipski while Bill Beadle will be advancing the case for Lipski's innocence.
Of course, the name LIPSKI will forever be remembered for its bizarre reappearance a year later in Berner Street on the occasion of the potential Ripper victim Liz Stride's murder.
This IS a Whitechapel Society not to miss!!!
