    Hi Ally,

If you want anticlimax I can simply not post anything else and leave everyone hanging...

Alternatively, you could wait 24 hours while I go over the details with Aliffe before announcing stuff like dates and cost.

Beginning to wish I hadn't started this thread now!

    Adam.

Fabulous photograph, Adam! Yes you have us all on tenterhooks. I do think the theme of Jack being back in London could be a big draw to bring in more people beyond the regulars who have attended UK Ripper conventions in the past.

Nice poster job there, Adam! Looks great.

I can't believe it will finally be held in London. What an absolute joy!
Looking forward to further info, Adam, when you're ready.
          Thanks again.

Well, I'm crossing my fingers for some sort of financial miracle, and I hope to be there if possible.

And yes it is a lovely bit of artwork, and yes that was a slight anticlimax, but if we view the artwork as an extra pre-announcement teaser, then it's all good and we can stop being snippy at each other, yeah?

I gotta get there, if only for the possiblilty of actual bloodshed when Ally and Jeff end up in the same room.

            I'm putting 3 to 1 on Ally...

PS It’s not really my day today. We are being beaten by the welsh 20-8. I painted the haul and Tara got paint over her and has redecorated the front room by her self..so take it easy.

Yeah. Since Lincoln's birthday has just passed, his classic line that ends "...but, you can't please all of the people all of the time" seems appropriate.

                            I think Lincoln's line was:

"You can fool all of the people some of the time,
                            and you can fool some of the people all of the time;
but you can't fool all of the people all of the time."

Naturally, you can't please them all of the time either.

Still wise words, even in misquote. It's a doctrine I should have printed huge above my computer as I need reminding of it often.
