new gruesome exhibition featuring Ripper exhibits!

apologies if this has already been made aware but in the press this past week (Daily Mirror Thurs 19th Feb) there was a centre page spread about a new exhibition which opens on thursday.

Said exhibition charts the rise of forensic science. Particularly of interest is the Mitre Square scale map drawn by the architect the police hired to aid their investigation and even the orginal camera that photographed Mary Kelly!

Forensics: The Anatomy of Crime is free and runs from Feb 26 to June 21 at Wellcome Collection, 183 Euston Road London

This exhibition examined the history, science and art of forensics – travelling from crime scene to courtroom, across centuries and continents, exploring the specialisms of those involved in collecting, analysing and presenting medical evidence.

With all due respect, and I appreciate the link, I doubt that they can know as a certainty that this was the camera used to take the photos of MJK.
