    Was there anybody there?

Just a bit of curiosity on my part. I was just having a glance through a few old Ripperologist magazines (yes, they used to be made of paper in the dim and distant) and I got to issue #40 from April of 2002 and the ‘I Beg To Report’ section which has a photograph of Bill Beadle giving a talk at The Cloak and Dagger Club in February of 2002. The article mentions Beadle’s previous talk at The Cloak and Dagger Club in August of 1997 on the subject of the death of Mary Jane Kelly. I only ever made it to one Cloak and Dagger Club meeting and that was the one, although I couldn’t stay for the whole meeting because I was with friends. It was held at The City Darts pub which was formerly The Princess Alice pub. Someone pointed out a few authors who were also there but I just can’t remember but maybe people like Paul Begg and Martin Fido? I remember shaking hands with Bill Beadle near the bar…he seemed a nice guy.

Was anyone else on here at that meeting?
