    Councidences

Debra Arif unintentionally gave me the idea for this one. Even though we all know that coincidences can occur and that they are often used as fuel for theories, it doesn’t mean that certain coincidences might not have been coincidences in the first place…or they might have been coincidences. So whether they are just coincidences or whether they are coincidences post your ripper-related coincidences and let everyone decide.

    ………

From Debra Arif - Fasham Venables, Cutbush's cousin had a wool warehouse at 34 Aldgate High Street. Catherine Eddowes claimed she knew who JTR was and was arrested a few doors away from these premises!.

We have suspect Thomas Hayne Cutbush incarcerated in Broadmoor and, at the time, we had Superintendent Charles Henry Cutbush who became disturbed and committed suicide. Macnaghten and others believed that these were uncle and nephew but they weren’t. There was also another Charles Cutbush who was incarcerated in an asylum in 1908..

The spot where the apron and graffito were found was the previous location of a shop at 56 Goulston Street owned by Hyman Sampson, the man who got Jacob Levy sent to prison.

Joseph Hyam Levy who, along with Lawende and Harris possibly saw the ripper with his victim, was related to ripper suspect Joseph Levy

Maybe the most obvious one is the murders of Stride and Eddowes occurring less than an hour apart within easy walking distance of each other, similar victims killed in a similar manner. It's only a coincidence if they weren't killed by the same man.

Eddowes sometimes went by the name "Mary Kelly", the same name as the probable next Ripper victim.

There's a Ripper victim and Ripper suspect named Kelly, and a Ripper victim and Ripper suspect named Chapman.

Jack dropping the piece of apron right where a mysterious piece of Graffiti had been scribbled just a short time before.*

                * For those who believe the two were unrelated; but even if they were related, it still is a bit weird that it was located at a site of a Jewish market- especially with all the other Jewish connections running through the case.

I don’t know what time this one occurred Fiver but I’m assuming that time precludes someone naming Brown as a suspect.

Many of us believe that the note means that she didn't actually say "Nothing", but that she didn't say ANYTHING when asked.

But, hey, she was drunk as a skunk*, so it could mean anything...

                          * How the Hell did that saying originate? Do skunks in particular make a habit of frequenting pubs or crashing frat parties?

Dear Boss mentioning ginger beer and the ginger beer bottles being found in MJK's room.

It just... tickles me a bit.
