Time for a little lighthearted thread

I will type it again just in case.... LIGHTHEARTED thread.

Imagine if you will that you are ALL superheroes


Yes, that also includes you!



Now imagine that Ripperology HQ based have contacted you personally to suit up and boot up for a special time travelling mission back to 1888.


Your mission is to go back and tell the police who the Ripper is, but they're going to need convincing!


You can't do this alone however; you're going to need to assemble a team; a squad personally picked by you to take with you back to 1888.


The question is...


WHO do you pick for your team....and WHY?

You can ONLY pick from this CASEBOOK site...if Forums wants it, they can play later.

So....time to assemble YOUR team...

You can only pick 4 others...so pick wisely.


The case depends on it!


So I will go first....

In NO particular order...


RD's team...


1) Debra Arif.... Wise, knowledgeable, Legendary Goddess. Someone to go over the trenches with.

2) JeffHamm... Thorough, methodcal, analytical... a key asset to any team

3) JerryD.... Forward thinking, inquisitive, focused... a good wing man if it all kicks off

4) George (GBinOZ)... balanced, calming, thoughtful.... keeps the team on point and brings balance to the force.



So...there's my Ripperology Squad....

I do have a backup 'B' team if the first team gets wiped out by some guy with a big glove and lots of shiny stones.

But hopefully I won't need to call up Christer...

Oh knows, that is a huge problem getting it down to four or five. I respect far too many people here (yourself included) to be able to narrow it down. Too many people bring so many skill sets to the table. That particular skill might not be needed for months or longer but wham in they come with a priceless gem.

I think I would call up Christer to be honest so I can rub his nose in some horse shite on Bucks Row about 3:45 in the morning, plus it would keep him out the way chatting to his Idol.

Should be a very interesting thread. More to the point which boozer do we all meet in after the job has been done?

I love Herlock's threads so he is in for the journey, something to read. RD you are in for well balanced and respectful accurate posting, Fiver is definitely in, bit more tenacious but they are in for sure. Mr Blomer is in to get Buck's Row out the way. Jeff is in just in case we need animations. RJ is also in, always get a well balanced post from them.

I'm going to need a B, C and D team at the very least.

Thank you RD. I'm honored to make your 2nd team, but I don't think I know as many details about the case as a lot of people here do, so I think others are more worthy than I. I would have chosen rjpalmer or elamarna instead. I really like FrankO too for his combo of intelligent comments and easy going personality. I'm sure that there are others that I should mention here.

Humility is a wonderful attribute that should never be understated.
Its also not neccessarily about what you may or may not know, but more about how you come across to others.
