Has anyone ever done any research into murder, manslaughter or serious assault by prostitutes around the time that the Whitechapel Murders ceased?
I understand that there is strong evidence that the killer strangled/choked his victims prior to attacking them with the knife. Is it possible that one of his potential victims, during the act of strangulation, managed to produce a knife (or other weapon) of her own and fatally or seriously wound him?
