    Question,marriage dates/days

    Per wikipedia,etc.,the days below

    Lady Day (25 March)
    Midsummer Day (24 June)
    Michaelmas (29 September)
    Christmas (25 December)

are/were the English quarter days, they are/were the four dates in each year on which servants were hired, school terms started, and rents were due,etc..

    - Question were those dates/days partly or traditional days or popular days for the English people to get married?
Clearly the first human laws (way older and already established) spawned organized religion's morality - from which it's writers only copied/stole,ex. you cannot kill, rob, steal (forced,it started civil society).
