  • Much ado about Nothing

    Hi all,
I'm guessing this has probably been debated before.
Ive just read that the term " Nothing" was popular slang in the Elizabethan era for femail genitalia.
I was wondering if Elizabethan slang would still be around in the 1880's.

    Regards.

Seriously doubt Eddowes was a prostitute.

She was simply refusing to give her name.

Then you might have more than one source for that, can you share any?

Interesting...it sheds a whole new light on Manuel from Fawlty Towers.
