  • Just spotted this.

An end is finally in sight to the case of Jack the Ripper, who can now be revealed to have murdered six working-class women in Whitechapel, East London, in 1888, thanks to a new BBC documentary.

So David Wilson yet again. Not a fan to put it mildly. I often disagree with much that he says. A pity that he did not remain as a Prison Govenor.

The silly season appears to have arrived early this year.

I always suspected that if anyone was going to solve this case it would have been Emilia Fox. I just wish I’d have had a bet on it!

            Hi Herlock,

            None at all.

All we can do is await the next charlatan.

I fear it has become a lost cause.

            Regards,

            Simon

There are two ways to be fooled, one is to believe what isn't true, the other is to refuse to believe that which is true.

"But an end is finally in sight to the case of Jack the Ripper"

Well reading that resulted in me having to clean coffee off of my keyboard!

I've never read the Daily Mail. It amazes me how many people buy it. At least with The Sun you had something nice to look at on page 3.
                  These are not clues, Fred.
It is not yarn leading us to the dark heart of this place.
They are half-glimpsed imaginings, tangle of shadows.
And you and I floundering at them in the ever vainer hope that we might corral them into meaning when we will not.
                  We will not.

Daily Mail is banned as a source in both Rationalwiki and Wikipedia. Conservapedia sometimes uses it though.
