With a chicken at his feet.

I would have tipped Simon Wood for the Roman guy.
    Best regards,
    Maria

Hello Maria. Shows what one can do with a fertile imagination and a techno son. Voila.

          Cheers.

We need to tell Stewart not to feed his budgie that GM bird seed.

              augury

Hello Robert. And here I thought the bird was thinking, "Uh oh, a serial killer who extracts organs? Must be augury. That means I'm next."

              Cheers.

Well, from what's in Stewart's right hand I was thinking, "Looks like clumsy Stewart's pulled the shower curtain down again."

Robert, do you think the man in the shower would know how old was Satchell in 1888 ?
I might sell this new suspect to a new scatterbrain.
The next French president will be a socialist, so I need to make fast money before spring.

David, the bloke in the shower probably knows, but is very busy putting the shower rail back up, so I'll tell you. John Satchell was 26 in 1888.

                      26 ? and surely looking 29.
                      Hmmm....
Could he walk from Romford to Whitechapel on one foot, as most of victorian East Enders used to do when they got bored ?

He could walk twice as far if he used both feet.

                          Doux Jésus !
That is far more telling than unmatching signatures.
                          I'm most obliged, my dear.

                            William Crossingham lived in Romford.

Robert, that must be John Satchell Jnr (if there was one) who was 26. According to Casebook Wiki Satchell took over the premises in June 1869.

                              Hi John

I'm not sure of the relationships. It's a bit complicated, as there was a John Satchell at 19 George St in 1871 but he calls himself a lath render (?). Later on there is another John Satchell who is a lodging house keeper and was born in Rugby.

That makes 3 John Satchell lodging house keepers.
