Incidentally, I KNOW what all this refers to, and haven't even looked up Rip #124 (but old threads instead).

Ken, I hope you mean NIR #2, or have a missed a month here? (Could have happened, with all these allnighters I'm currently pulling.)
    Best regards,

      Hello Maria,

I am happy you show interest in my question to search through old threads and I am so glad you "KNOW". Or should I state, purport to "know"? Because, with respect, I honestly do not think you do...otherwise you would state the answer, as it has already been discussed, no?

      kindly

        Hello Phil,
Didn't search through old threads, just cited out of (old) memory.
I thought the answer referred to Farson potentially having being “a scribe“ in relation to the Aberconway version, but I might be monumentally mistaken here (for which I apologize).

Incidentally, I haven't downloaded Rip #124 yet and won't have time for this until a couple weeks I'm afraid.
        Best regards,
        Maria

          Hello Maria,

If you had read through THIS thread, you would have seen what my question refers to...I stated it as my 2nd post on this thread. No need for them, but the apologies are accepted of course. :-)

          kindly

I'm afraid “his book and his time at the BBC“ were still too apocryphal for me. Apologies for prying and assuming, bad reflexes at work here.
            Best regards,

                    Thank you Phil,

I think it was the use of the sentence ending "....to share with us" which caught me out.

An indication the project wasn't a sole one.

I really shouldn't be so suspicous. I will endeavour not to strain at my leash so much, my neck is begining to get sore.

                      suspicion

                      Hello Neil.

"I really shouldn't be so suspicious."

Well, perhaps suspicion is a desirable trait--at least in the context of investigation. Sherlock Holmes and Sam Spade had their share.

                      Cheers.

                          Hello Simon,

MANY thanks for this kind contribution. What am I up to indeed! Just a little niggle that has needed sorting, that I have let lie for a few decades....

                          Hello Monty,

By "us" I meant the Ripperological community when I wrote it.. it seemed a little odd to write "me" for some reason. No, not a combined project this time..lol

Don't worry about the neck. Mine's been on a guillotine block so many times I have a permanent ring across the back of it...lol

                          kindly
