I have encountered just about all of these things since i became a member, but i still keep coming back. If i can use this thread to make some criticisms, then i would like to ask why rating a thread after reading it does not become mandatory?. This is good way of letting your feelings be known in a constructive and non abusive way. Also, speaking as a member of the guilty party, the rating system may deter people from creating pointless and rubbish threads, there are just to many ( most of mine ).

I'm with Scorpio on this one. Spending a month here would let you see every one of those options listed in the poll, let alone if you've been around the site for years! But it's the same for most forums on the internet, and there can be no doubting that the Casebook site is a vital research tool for any Ripperologist, beginner or expert.

        Cheers,
        Adam.

          Where's warm and cuddly?
This my opinion and to the best of my knowledge, that is, if I'm not joking.

              Of interest to all perhaps?

              Hello all,

Perhaps this will be of interest to both users and admin alike. It may give indications that may be of interest, and perhaps use.

              best wishes

Nope. A new thread would be opened to discuss why the old thread got a bad rating.

                    Too true !

I think that a rating system would be very useful -seriously now...
