This was an outstanding series. The info that has been gathered since then is amazing.

It certainly puts all the whining about "theres nothing new" into perspective. Dave

The first JtR doc i saw was an adaption of Stephen Knight's book. I was about ten years old, bored and scouting about for Hammer horror movies on my BW portable tv one night and i found this doc instead. The photo of Liz Stride scared me a bit for some reason, and when he got to Mary Kelly i just had to turn the tv set off, it was just to scary to watch anymore. I really should have stuck to Doctor Who.

The thing I like most about it is the way they have the women realisticly dressed.

Hello All! I am new here and this is my first post. I hope I do this right, LOL. First, I have to say that it is so refreshing to be on a message board where people agree to disagree and still be civil, lol. You seem like a very nice group and I am really looking forward to meeting everyone and getting to know you. Belinda, thank you for posting those links. I just got done viewing the last one and I think that it is a great series about JTR and it stays more on topic with the canocial five than some I have seen. You are right also, the way the women are dressed is also very realistic. Thank you again for posting them!

Thank you so much Grave Maurice..that was really nice of you! I just started really getting interested in JTR in the last few months. So my knowledge of the case isn't very great as of yet and I was very nervous for my first post for fear of sounding dumb. I had bought the book "Case Closed" by Patricia C. and that's what got me interested in this case. I didn't exactly care for her book much, but it did trigger me to try and search for more facts. I started watching the YouTube videos right away and now I'm addicted, LOL. I hope to learn all I can about this case and be able to join in on more discussions on the boards soon.
