There is no doubt that the Royal Conspiracy theory first made popular by Stephen Knight was a riverting read, but what other Conspiracy theory's have had you hooked. Here is my top four in order.

1. JTR. Royal Conspiracy. ( in it's many forms )

2. Rudolph Hess ( The murder of )

3. JFK.

4. Titanic ( the sinking of, for insurance purpose's.)

A conspiracy to kill R.Hess implies there had been an earlier conspiracy to let him fly from fatherland to the estate of I-don't-remember-his-name-but-he-was-a-well-known-guy :-)))

The fact that an audio recording of the assassination of Robert Kennedy indicates more shots than were fired by Sirhan, the fact that even Martin Luther King's family doesn't believe James Earl Ray was the real killer, some (repeat some) of the 9-11 stuff, and the idea that a private group of ultra-rich globalists who secretly run the world are plotting the destruction of every one of us. All very scary stuff.

Dont worry I dont belive the Davinci code, but I have'nt read it or seen the film.

You are right The Hess theory is in two parts, The first part was that it was'nt Hess but a double who flew over to England ( cant remember why ) and the second part was he was murderded by the Russians whilst serving life in jail.
I found it very convincing.

About Hess, the version I had heard of is the following :

Act 1 - The real R.Hess flows to UK with AH blessings, to meet privately with some British politicians who are then in favor of a peace with Germany.
W.Churchill has got him jailed before the plot could thicken, and AH seeing his plan fails declares Hess has just gone mad.

Act 2 - The British secret services kill Hess when every other country in charge of watching over Hess (US, USSR, France) agrees to let him free on humanitary terms, following renewed queries from his supporters, by fear that he could, once free, make public statements over his 1940 flight, which he hadn't right to do while in jail.

An other option is that he got eventually bothered at German beers and decided to borrow a ME109 to make a visit to Great Britain pubs :-))))

That all sounds about right, Its been over twenty years since I read it, although I was sure the Russkies did him in ( cant amagine they would have let him go on humanity grounds ) but I bow to your better memory.

BTW, USSR allegedly only agreed to let R.Hess free after M.Gorbatchov had took power.
FWIW, I'd suppose this was meant to be a fine example of 'perestroika'...and a safe way to spare monies on watching costs for everyone

The above 2 alone makes me think that JtR could have been a policeman.

As for JFK, Moon Landings or 911......anyone who believes in them is a fruitcake imo.
