Paris, July 2 1894.
Re. Anarchists.
Dear President of our Council and dear colleague,
Our Ambassador of the French Republic in London just gave me the following information after a communiquee by inspector Melville which was offered to him in confidentiality. The London anarchists are rumoured to be pleased by the recent attack against President Garnot and they intend to publish a manifesto pertaining to this affair.
I am honoured to communicate you this information, to be used in full advantage.
Please accept my assured consideration, dear President of our Council and dear colleague.“

Hello all.
A translation for Lynn's post #319, referring to the photograph in post #318:
“Paris, 21 december 1907.
Report of the chief of the 3d brigade to the General Director of investigations.
I have the honour to transmit to the General Director of investigations the attached photograph representing the members of the Russian anarchist group at the Rue des Ecouffes.
At the bottom of the picture the names of the members are inscribed, apart from the person nr. 7, about whom we have no information whatsoever.
The person named KOSAVIELSKY (nr. 14) has been signaled as the treasurer of the group, while the person named LEISER (nr. 6) has been signaled as intending to commit an attack against Mr. Clemenceau.“ {i.e., the French Prime Minister}

job description
Hello Phil. Thanks.
Yes, he didn't like the job description for his position with Rachkovski. He felt a bit stifled as it was too constrictive.
Also, he may not have been properly trained. I daresay that's what he meant when he replied, "Well, this is all noose to me."
Cheers.

Hello Lynn,
Thank you for your presentations recently, especially this last one. Really interesting it is.
Dear old Father Gapon got a little hooked up in the job, I note.
best wishes
Phil

Rachkovski--MO
Hello All. Here is a write up on Rachkovski, just after his death. It is taken from the "Indianapolis Star" December 1, 1910.
Note that he is accused of hatching some of the plots himself. Note, too, that many socialists/anarchists/nihilists were in his employ.
Cheers.
