A Diener?

I just read this article about dieners and the work they do in autopsies. I really thought it fit better than medical students or butchers.

Interesting, Diana - but that's what "dieners" appear to do in modern Amerian autopsies. From what we've seen of the Whitechapel autopsies, the surgeon did most of the work himself, with the "dieners" merely undressing and washing the body, apparently without permission sometimes!
