  • Multiple Jacks anyone?

UPDATE: Sorry everyone, there was a very similar thread to this posted earlier called "Jack and his 'accomplices'" by Dixon9. My fault for not reading it first. I think he stole my idea though

Hi all, I wanted to run this by you all. I was just reading a newspaper article about a printer boss who recieved a letter from an employee who claimed to be Jack the Ripper (yawn, yet another crummy newspaper article I hear you say), in the letter he claimed that contrary to popular belief there was more than one of them doing the murders. What do others think about this? Is there any evidence that points to multiple Jacks? Also, if this is the case, could this be why we cannot settle on one suspect?

    Hi Chudmuskett,

as you know, there are actually several theories as such... Knight, for example... Warren himself seems to have believed in a secret society at a time.

      Hello chudmuskett,

As most people know, I am of the opinion that three of the 5 canonicals were done by different people. Possibly (C1 and C2),(C3), then (C4 and C5).. perhaps with slight variations on this theme. So, in a way, I support this theory.

      best wishes

I think there was more than one killer, and I don't believe there were accomplices. I'm thinking of all the WC murders.

          Hi Phil,

that's another subject. It's Jack and his accomplices, not his copycats.

          Amitiés moun bèou,

Ok........Ive been holding this in for awhile. It was only for laughs and giggles but.......WHAT IF.....

All of the top/main suspects in the JTR case the we've all suspected since the murders occurred over a century ago were all in on it together????

Basically the Royal Theory was true and the Royal Guard or whatever got together some men to perform the deed of murder and covering it up. Basically forming an Ocean's 11 type deal or a sinister Inglorious Basterds crew. So Druit, Kosminski, Dodson, Tumblety and the crew teamed up to do it.

In the end after the deed was done anyone who knew of this had to be eliminated. And whats the one thing in common most if not all of the Ripper suspects have in common? They either are killed/died or escape abroad never to be seen again or they are locked away in an asylum of some sorts. Anyone outside of the Royal Guard with knowledge of the situation had to be eliminated.

True enough, its out there and most likely not true.........but that would make one hell of a movie.
Im just a guy with a flashlight and an open mind looking for answers. Before I do, I need to find the questions first.

Fantastic idea for a movie, heres my plot:
Druid gets a Prostitute pregnant, he knows Tumblety from a masonic lodge and Tumblety agrees to 'Take care of her and all who know the secret' so Tumblety then hires Kosminski to do the deed who is promised extra cash for every body part he steals and gives to Tumblety for his sick collection. Unfortuantly I dont know who Dodson is but he sounds dodgy so he could play a side line character as 'The Embankment Killer'.
