    Whitechapel board game

    Hi all,

I am wondering if anyone is aware of a reputable source for the above board game?

I believe the game came out in the 1980's?

Having googled it, it appears there is very little info on the web on the game, & even less in respect of possibilities on where to buy it.

Any info would be gratefully recieved.

    regards

Maybe this is the game you're looking for from Sleuth 1983: http://www.boardgamegeek.com/boardga...ack-the-ripper

Why would they make a game like that?

There is a few Board games named after London Bourghs boroughs......Kensington....and Westminister which coverted well into the c64 game "The Election Game".

          And now Whitechapel!

I would think car boot sales your best bet.

Once we swat down and atomize all the suspects, it will be a bored game.

I'll buy a house on unknown local.

I'll put a hotel on unknown local.

                Wasn't aware of that one.

This is the game I'm trying to find. That site appears to be a bibliography of games, but I'm looking for somewhere to buy the game if it is about...
"WHITECHAPEL 1888 - Jack the Ripper's Playground." A board game based on events which took place in the East End of London in 1888. For 3 to 6 players aged 12+. One player takes the role of "Jack the Ripper" and the others one of his 5 potential victims. The object of the game is for the ladies to escape Jack's clutches and to reach the safety of Scotland Yard Police Station. Jack wins if he eliminates the ladies and evades capture by the police. There is an option for a seventh player to play the role of "PC White" during the game's concluding phase. The game consists of cards, dice, pawns, and game board. Devised by Andy and Sue Parlour.
