However that website returns a 404 error.

Does anyone know why?
Can the map still be bought?

I sated some of my map urges by buying a copy of Booth's poverty map. Its enormous! And is jolly interesting, there are enclaves of black right in with the west-ends yellow.
I would love to know the stories of those streets.

Since becoming interested in JTR I have wanted to learn all I can about 19thC london. And Iam enjoying it greatly, I have been reading Maahew's Underwolrd book today, and that has some fascinating stuff in it.

I realise your post is over a year old, but a brand new Jack the Ripper Map of Spitalfields & Whitechapel is now available. If you're still interested you can find more information about it here: http://www.jacktherippermap.info/

There are 2 versions; a full size, 50 by 30 inch map, and a book version, A4 size, 53 pages with the same map split across 25 map plates. Both are available only as a download. You can print them out yourself.
