Hi all
I seem to do little else but ask questions and I am sure sometimes the answers are right here on the site but I just can't find them.
Q1. Do we know exactly when MJK and Joe took the lease on Room 13?
Q2. Would it be wrong of me to think it odd that they (MJK and Joe) according to Joe only got behind with their rent for Room 13 when he lost his job as a porter after all they had been in numerous other places and had to leave for non-payment of rent? I don't know why that niggles at me I think maybe because we only have Joe's words on any given thing and he can say what he likes as MJK is not going to contradict him.
Q3. If Mary Cox returned to her room briefly at 0100 and heard MJK singing why wasn't she, (Cox) seen by Prater who at 0100 was hanging around waiting for her fella and heard no singing - saw nobody?
Q4. Is it possible that the person Cox hears leaving the court at around 0545 could have been Prater who says she went for a glass of rum at around 0530? How sure could they be of their times?
Q5. Is it possible or likely that at around 0800 Pickett knocks to borrow a shawl but MJK doesn't answer for 'whatever reason'. Though when she hears the 'visitor' move away from the court she sneaks out to see who it was and this is when she is seen by Maurice Lewis and by Caroline Maxwell? Obviously this would only be workable if I was exploring the theory that MJK was indeed alive that morning.
If the information is around in plain sight or the questions are discussed elsewhere please accept my apologies I keep getting waylaid by this site and lose track of what I am looking for because there is so much of interest!
