    Ally,
Well if Ap used the words " Philip made a mistake when he inserted the background" then that is defamatory. And no,I dont condone that.I dont believe
Philip would have done any such thing for goodness sake!

      Hi Norma

What might it take for you to become disenchanted with dear AP?

I notice that Debra and Robert are lying low on this one.

It's a photo of Dutfields Yard in 1900. End of story.

Try and see the funny side. I'm sure AP does.

But whats it to you dear Stephen? There is surely a lot worse going on in the world than Ap saying someone had hoaxed a "Jack the Ripper" Crime Scene Picture of Dutfields Yard!
Whats the saying--- "let him who is without sin cast the first stone".

I wouldn't call Debra an AP Wolf apologist. She's put him in his place more than a few times.

                    Norma,

To echo Robs words, Ive no issue with you.

Infact I feel I can have cross words with you safe in the knowledge that those are only cross words which, in the great scheme of things, are meaningless words of frustration.

I know Rob and I can be cantankerous at times, Rob more so but thats just us. We bloody care about what we do and dont take kindly to accusations which are unfounded. And that goes for our friends who we know to be sound and true. And if that sounds like a clique to some well dang em. I really dont give a diddle.

Basically we calls it as we see it, as does Ally.

Ive seen Rob and Philip argue cat n dog. Ive seen you and Rob do the same over cobbles, but Ive also seen you hug...and if truth be know Rob and I do to..we do Rob, you know it.

Theres no rift on my part.

                      That's because I'm older.

I think Sox is smokin' some good sh*t. Either that or he's quoting Monty Python. I don't know Monty Python, but I've quoted Monty Bell, and you can quote me on that.

Natalie, for the record what I actually said at the time was that because the image had been through photoshop I felt I was unable to trust either its accuracy or origin. I think any document examiner would have similar misgivings about an image that had been subject to computer enhancement.
We are not privy to the details of the enhancement, so obviously should be wary.
                            Then I got banned.

Thats so good to hear Monty! Thanks. because actually I have always looked forward to seeing you all !And ....... I am actually very impressed by the scrupulous way you all go about your research and what you discover and the way you test it out.
But best of all? The last bit of your post gave me the first good laugh of the night!
