    Thanks Mike,

I truly enjoy this kind of stuff.

"Prepare yourself for Jack the Ripper's funeral..."
    Another unforgettable sentence.

    Amitiés,
    David

It can be taken more than one way. He could either be claiming to be JTR or he has left Birmingham to go and kill JTR thus "Prepare yourself for Jack the Ripper's funeral..." or of course he was a bit loopy. Great find though.

It is a great line. Funnily enough, a few months later there was a Jack the Ripper scare in Monmouthshire, in which a man claimed he was Jack the Ripper to a housemaid. She screamed and the owner of the house came, who was of the military, and chased the man. Others joined the chase, and eventually the man came to a river, which he tried to cross, and ended up drowning!

You would have thought that by now, anyone with an association with Jack the Ripper would stay away from rivers!
        Regards Mike
