    Hello all,

    I seem to recall, somewhere back in my memory, I have seen an article about Millen after he retired accepting a post of adviser in some big company or other. Perhaps someone may know more?

      Do you mean Frank Millen Phil? He died of a heart attack in April 1889.He had a job as a news correspondent for the New York Times[pretty sure it was the Times but if not it was the New York Post].
      But he was in British pay re "The Troubles" according to Christy Campbell in Fenian Fire.

          Hi Norma and Phil,

          Ernest Millen [no relation to General FF Millen] retired towards the end of the 1960s and became a security consultant.
