Where does a Donovan fit in?

Hi all
I have traced my family back to Whitechapel, Matthew & his wife Caroline (nee Callow) in the 1800's, I believe there was a Donovan involved either as a suspect or witness, Can anyone throw any light on this please.

I am now researching the Donovans in Whitchapel in the 1800's if anyone has any info to share it will be appreciated.
